Looking for an enriching and enjoyable way to spend your weekends with your family? Come to Cinema Akil and join us for Cinemini, the young audience film cycle that will run every weekend from May 5th until June 4th, in collaboration with Looking Glass.
Cinemini offers a range of films perfect for young viewers, including Ratatouille, Revolting Rhymes, Tales of the Night, Dounia and the Princess of Aleppo, and Moon Man. The thematic short film programs are specially curated to offer a variety of stories, from heartwarming tales of friendship and courage to action-packed adventures and whimsical stories. These films will be screened every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 3:00 PM.
In Ratatouille, kids will follow the journey of a determined rat who dreams of becoming a master chef. Revolting Rhymes takes classic fairy tales and turns them on their heads, creating a funny and fresh take on old stories. Tales of the Night is an enchanting collection of animated short films from around the world, each one bringing its unique culture and storytelling style to the screen.
Dounia and the Princess of Aleppo is a moving and inspiring tale of a young Syrian girl who dreams of becoming a journalist and helping her community. And in Moon Man, viewers will join a friendly moon creature on a journey to Earth, discovering the joys and wonders of our planet along the way.
After the screening, there will be time for children and parents to discuss the movie, encouraging thoughtful reflection and conversation. Please note that although all films included in Cinemini are suitable for young audiences, some may be more appropriate for children aged 8 or 10 and above. We encourage parents and guardians to review the films and their ratings to determine the best viewing experience for their children.
Cinemini is the perfect way to share the magic of cinema with your family. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to explore new worlds!
