ARAB CINEMA WEEK
This year, during Arab Cinema Week, we aim to present some of the most pressing issues in the Arab world, from Morocco to the UAE, by showcasing these realities on the cinema screen. Whether through the importance of the subjects, the brilliance of cinematic language, fresh adaptations of old stories, or journeys to times and places we’ve never seen, our film selection reflects these aspects with great care. Our program includes five fiction and six non-fiction feature films in addition to 10 shorts, highlighting the evolution of hybrid forms of non-fiction, showing that cinematic language knows no boundaries.

NOVEMBER RELEASES
After the HKFF we are releasing three films two of them are based on popular demand during Anime Film Week: Howl’s Moving Castle, the second film is Ghost Cat Anzu, fresh from the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. In addition to these films, we are gladly premiering Bird which premiered at the main competition at Cannes Film Festival 2024.
All of the three films come as a partnership between Cinema Akil and Front Row Limited.
