The third season of the film program at Wednesdays at the Warehouse carries on the now established legacy of Warehouse421 as a sanctuary for showcasing the best in contemporary Arab cinema right in the heart of Abu Dhabi.
For two seasons, our journey through contemporary Arab cinema has taken us and our audiences to Arab hearts and stories – from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, Morocco, Palestine, Lebanon and beyond; the third season’s lineup will continue on to showcase the region’s best in critically-acclaimed short and feature-length narrative and documentary films.
The new program will be a window of adventure, joy, tears and drama as experienced and brought to life by characters and their storytellers. Forceful documentaries, boisterous tales and socioculturally reflective dramas – the third season sheds light to films that are true to Warehouse421’s dedication to the celebration of cultural production from across the region.

Warehouse421 is a new venue for arts and culture located in Mina Zayed district of Abu Dhabi that has been converted from two of the port’s former industrial warehouses. The mission of Warehouse421 is to celebrate art and culture, design and creativity, performance and music, from artists and designers based here in the UAE and from around the world, and to let people experience these disciplines in a unique and original space. The conversion of Warehouse421 has been overseen by the Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation as part of its mission to support the growth of the arts and cultural sector of the UAE.
